Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference set for May 2026 in Florida

The Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference is scheduled for May 13-14, 2026, at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Hotel in Aventura, Florida. Judges from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, which includes Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, will convene to address court business and discuss ways to improve the administration of justice within the circuit.

A limited number of spaces are available for attorneys who are admitted to practice before the court of appeals or any district courts within the Eleventh Circuit. Registration is open on a first-come, first-served basis. Attorneys interested in attending can request information by emailing judconf@ca11.uscourts.gov or calling the office of the Circuit Executive at 404-335-6535.

The registration fee for the conference is $395. This fee is non-refundable and must be received by Friday, April 3, 2026. Additional fees may apply for meals and events.

A Jefferson County woman has been indicted by a federal grand jury for distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl between October 2024 and January 2025. The case is part of Operation Take Back America targeting criminal organizations and violent crime.
