A Georgia resident has been indicted in federal court on charges related to the sexual exploitation of children, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Prim F. Escalona.

Adree Villanueva, 25, of Kennesaw, Georgia, faces a three-count indictment in the U.S. District Court for incidents that occurred between April and July 2025 in Madison County. The charges include coercion and enticement, traveling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual activity, and transportation of a minor.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI together with the Huntsville Police Department. Assistant United States Attorney John M. Hundscheid is prosecuting the case.

The prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse across the country. According to information provided by authorities, Project Safe Childhood brings together federal, state, and local resources to identify offenders who exploit children online and work towards rescuing victims. More details about this program can be found at www.projectsafechildhood.gov.

U.S. Attorney Escalona emphasized: “An indictment contains only charges. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.”
