A federal jury has convicted Arsenio Hall, 36, of Montgomery, Alabama, on multiple charges related to drug trafficking. The verdict was announced by Acting United States Attorney Kevin Davidson following the conclusion of a three-day trial on December 18, 2025.

The investigation began in late 2024 when law enforcement started looking into suspected drug-trafficking activities in Montgomery County. On December 4, 2024, investigators from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in Montgomery. During the search, authorities found over three kilograms of methamphetamine with a purity of 99 percent, more than 200 grams of cocaine, about three pounds of marijuana, and 349 grams of synthetic cannabinoid stored in a bedroom closet. Fingerprints and other evidence linked Hall directly to these substances.

Hall was initially taken into custody on state charges. In July 2025, he was indicted by a federal grand jury on four counts; an additional count was added in November. The jury found him guilty on all five counts.

“This case reflects the strong collaboration between federal and local law enforcement here in the Middle District of Alabama,” said Acting United States Attorney Davidson. “I am grateful to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration for their hard work and careful investigation, which helped bring this case to a successful conclusion.”

Hall is scheduled for sentencing in the coming months. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of ten years and could receive up to life imprisonment under federal law. Parole is not available in the federal system.

The case was investigated by both the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Assistant United States Attorneys Mark E. Andreu and Christopher P. Moore prosecuted the case.
