The quarterly bankruptcy section meeting for the Southern District of Alabama is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, at noon. The event will take place in the jury assembly room on the second floor of the new federal courthouse. Attendees are instructed to enter through the main security entrance and use the stairs to the left.

Lunch will be provided by McPhail Sanchez, LLC. All bankruptcy practitioners in the district are encouraged to attend. Attorneys who participate will receive one hour of free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit.

For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be available via Microsoft Teams. Organizers expect that virtual participation will begin around 12:15 p.m., allowing time for those attending in person to have lunch first. Details including a link for Microsoft Teams access, agenda topics, and handouts will be made available ahead of time on the court’s website.

Anyone wishing to suggest topics for discussion can email Brooke Sanchez with their ideas. Those planning to eat lunch must RSVP before noon on Monday, February 23.
